How the one-of-a-kind pieces work
Each jewelry piece is set to quantity 1 with "continue selling when out of stock" turned off, so it flips to Sold Out the moment an order is paid.
Shopify doesn't hold an item while it sits in a cart. Two people can add the same piece; whoever pays first gets it, and the second sees "sold out" at checkout. No double order is possible.
Sold pieces stay on the page marked "Sold." A gallery of sold work shows new visitors that pieces really do go, and keeps those pages in Google.
